Functional description Encodes a novel nuclear 14-kD protein containing a cyclin binding motif and a motif found in ICK/KRP cell cycle inhibitor proteins. It is required for coordinating cell division and cell differentiation during the development of Arabidopsis trichomes, playing a key role in the mitosis-to-endoreduplication transition. It interacts with D-type cyclins in vivo.
