Functional description Encodes leucine rich repeat (LRR) kinase. Iku2-3 identified in a screen for mutants with abnormal endosperm. Sporophytic recessive mutants have reduced embryo and endosperm size. Seed size is also reduced and the shape is abnormal suggesting an interaction between the endosperm and cell elongation in the integuments.
